# What does Hum do with my business data?

## Learn how we secure your data -- and empower you to use it to reach investors.

We use the data you provide to:

- Create advanced analytics that help you better understand the value of your business
- Match you with the right investors interested in companies like yours

Connecting your financial systems to the Intelligent Capital Market replaces emailing sensitive financial information back-and-forth with investors making for a more efficient and secure fundraising process.

You decide who you want to share data with by setting detailed permissions in your secure data room.  You can revoke access to your data at any time.

You can request that your data be deleted from our systems at any time.
